30 years after first hearing and responding to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Rev. Leighton Tong responded to the Lord’s call once again and entered into the Gospel ministry in 2011. Leighton has shared life with his beautiful wife Caryn since 1989 and are the proud parents and grandparents Under the Pastoral leadership of Dr. Angulus D Wilson, Rev. Tong has served the Lord as an associate Pastor of the New Beginnings Community Baptist Church in Fresno, California. He has labored in all ministries within the church and has a passion to teach the Word of God and to help show others how the Scriptures apply to the context and culture of today’s world. He has served the Lord as an international missionary, helping to encourage and equip others in the ministry of soul care and evangelism. Rev. Tong has received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Christian and Pastoral Ministries from the Angelos Biblical Institute. Rev. Tong is excited to the NEW SONG and NEW BEGINNING serving as the new Pastor of the New Beginnings Community Baptist Church.
